Gut and mitochondrial health, one and the same?

*How mitochondria should work and how it doesn’t

*Epithelial cells and the guts

*Fat digestion and bowel movements

In my last article, I wrote about the relationship between metabolic disease and cancer. As I pondered on what I had written I realized that the same principle applies to gut bacteria and epithelial cells.

If you have been following my writings You might be starting to wonder why I devote so much time to diet when as a channel for a 12th-dimensional soul I call ~Charley my time might be better spent discussing Esoteric Spiritual topics. The reality is that spirituality begins with a healthy body including diet, as much as emotions, and mental clarity.

And I won’t mince my words (no pun intended). Human beings function best when they eat red meat and saturated fats. Many have been seduced by the idea that a vegetable and fruit diet is the way to increase our vibration towards some sort of enlightenment. If that were true how come that after 5 years as a carnivore, my connection as a channel with ~Charley has never been stronger?

[No, it’s NOT an evil entity! For those of you religiously minded)

The true path to Spirituality lies in dispersing the suppressed emotions that close our hearts in fear, and that in time – rigidify it, it lies in our increasing capacity for emotional intensity…. But I am digressing from the subject at hand.

How mitochondria should work and how it doesn’t

To recap, most cells in the body contain mitochondria which is the engine in the body for the transformation of food energy via electrical conversion into ATP which the body uses for energy, at least that is the theory, because modern diets have interfered with this process.

Subscribe to my YouTube Channel

If we only eat meat and fat the lipid fatty acids + oxygen will catabolise in the mitochondria and create ATP directly, creating a waste of carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). In other words, our mitochondria will function like a diesel engine (sort of!). OK I have simplified the process but if you really want to go down the rabbit hole….. see here

I should also mention that fatty acids are used by the body for a host of other essential functions via the generation of Cholesterol in the Liver such as generating hormones and creating an insulating sheath around the nervous system

Lactic Acid fermentation

When we eat carbohydrates our cells’ mitochondria have to take an extra step to create the energy required via a process of fermentation a throwback to a time when there was no Oxygen in the atmosphere of the Earth. In the process, it creates Lactic Acid as a waste product which the liver breaks down by converting it into glucose to be sent back to the muscles.

Ordinarily, the consumption of carbohydrates would not be that significant, after all, the body uses this process as a means of storing fructose in the tissues for hibernating/ lean winter times (a genetic adaptation we acquired around 75,000 years back, (according to ~Charley) better known to us as diabetes type 2, and the body recovers from this quickly -as long as it is only for a few months at a time! Unfortunately in modern culture, it has become the all-year-round, de facto, primary means of energy consumption and the long-term primary reason for liver and kidney damage.

Vegetable seed oils

Over the past 100+ years, we have been moving away from animal fats and consuming ever-increasing amounts of seed oils (vegetable fats). Seed oils are the equivalent of adding petrol to a diesel engine. It buggers it up, but unlike the car analogy, it does this slowly over many years.

This is a huge problem for humanity today. These seed oils are in all manufactured foods. The body does not process them well if at all. According to ~Charley, “The mitochondria in humans can not properly use linoleic acid (seed/vegetable oil) for energy”.

After ~Charley’s statement I went online and found this research on Pub Med where they discovered that oxidised linoleic acid given to mice created apoptosis (cell death) and mitochondrial dysfunction in liver cells.

The medical research groups assert that because the body cannot synthesise omega 3 (a very small amount typically 1-2%) it is good for you to ingest, as the body can use it as a structural component in cell membranes (not for calories). But, there are many types of omega 3, even cows contain about 1-2% omega 3 unless they are fed soya nuts. So just by eating some meat, your needs would be met.

Yes, Vegetables (seeds really) contain Omega 3, yet the process of extraction- heated, chemically altered, bleached and oxidised (by contact with the oxygen in the air) then offered to people for consumption in pretty much every meal – is not normal.

There is a study by the Harvard School of Public Health researchers, in line with the American Heart Foundation that you should keep eating seed oils because they are good for your heart. No one has told them that heart problems have been on the rise for a long time. As of 2018 1 in 4 Americans are dying of heart disease.

Let’s keep feeding the pharma industry

If the above charlatans were right we would be the healthiest people on earth, whereas in America there is close to 50% obesity with as many pills popping regularly to ‘control’ diabetes, heart conditions, statins, high BP etc.,

The difference between animal fats (saturated) and vegetable oils (unsaturated) is, that one is solid at room temperature whilst the other is liquid. Some fats fall in the middle such as olive oil and coconut oil. They are even adding seed oils to butter and cheeses to ‘make them spreadable! and the average consumer is lapping this up!

Epithelial cells and the guts

So what does all the above mean for the human gut system? The gut contains free-floating bacteria with epithelial cells acting as a blood barrier. Epithelial cells are fascinating for they act as a primary means of defence, they can generate mucus, hormones and a lot more depending on location within the human biological barrier. They are on all skin surfaces that connect with the outside world be it reproductive, digestive, lung system, or just the skin. I had no idea, but apparently, 90 % of all cancer tumours are on the epithelial cells.

Epithelial cells are stem cells that divide and gradually move outwards until 5 days or so later when they commit apoptosis on the surface of your hands or internal surfaces. These dead cells stay there until dislodged by abrasion. In your guts, they will go down into your faeces.

Let’s put all this together. When we eat vegetable oils the bile and pancreas will break it down into large triglyceride molecules, and the epithelial cells will release an enzyme to break the triglycerides down to small enough ingredients to be absorbed through the epithelial cells and through to the bloodstream via the lymph system.

Some of the epithelial cells (as they become poisoned) will commit apoptosis at the level of the generating stem cell – a process that will gradually weaken the cell walls, whilst the mitochondria of other stem cells will gradually degrade to the point they break free and go rogue. We see this most clearly in Type 2 diabetics who grow tags on the skin, or women who get polyps in their reproductive system.

At some point, there are sufficient gaps in the walls for lectins and oxalates (these bring their own problems), to swamp the body’s tissues, whilst the omega 3 lipids recombine into triglycerides as they pass through the epithelial wall to be absorbed by the lymph system, which in turn carries it into the bloodstream. According to ~Charley, this happens with most people on a Western pre-manufactured diet quite early on in their lives. One of the earliest signs of leaky gut damage is allergies/eczema.

It is at a much, much later point that the degraded epithelial mitochondria, rather than commit hara-kiri choose a different path and turn into possible carcinogenic tumors.

Meanwhile, the cells gradually lose their ability via the degraded mitochondria to burn fat (catabolic conversion) and are now practically dependent on fermentation conversion for cell energy.

I was one of those who fell by the wayside hence I speak from experience. By the time I was 55 years old, I had become type 2 diabetic, ballooned in weight, had fatty liver disease, and damaged kidneys as well as a host of other symptoms.

I turned away from sugar as I started to navigate a new way of eating and like a heroin addict ready to ditch his addiction I went cold turkey. Unlike a heroin addict, I was racked with muscle spasms for years. In my ignorance, I had no idea that my body was literally craving sugar just to function.

soybean oil, water, whole eggs and egg yolks, distilled vinegar, salt, sugar, lemon juice concentrate, calcium disodium edta (used to protect quality), natural flavors.

After about 5 years as a true carnivore, I still get occasional muscle spasms which are ameliorated by regularly taking Magnesium citrate. Even though I had stopped the carbohydrates I was unwittingly still eating seed oils up to about 7 years back in the form of Helman’s mayonnaise (87% rapeseed or Soya oil) and a few other items.

Seed oils have a half-life of approximately 5 years in the body, they are blended with the fructose in your fat tissues. Your body whenever it requires fat reserves for burning will unwittingly send it down to the mitochodria. There is only one answer apart from abstinence from seed oils. The cell death of all the damaged mitochondria via the total absence of carbohydrates and the renewed consumption of animal fats. Bouts of regular intense exercise will also help with renewing of muscle cells

It is not for the faint-hearted especially if you have been severely compromised by metabolic disease. I am now 70 years old and apart from the occasional intense muscle spasm or slow muscular contractions. Have never felt better in myself. Even though I went down in weight from 18 to 13 stone still have some obstinate subcutaneous fat deposits. And I realize my body isn’t quite ready to get rid of the remaining poison.

I wish I looked that chiselled, but not my photo!

Fat digestion and bowel movements

We are incessantly told to eat roughage, “good for the bowels,” they say, as they try to sell you sugar-laden carbohydrates filled with sawdust and un-organic so-called ‘vitamins and minerals’ for breakfast. I used to bloat up at the least amount of carb ingestion. As the prevalent bacteria in my guts fermented the ingested food.

Today, there is absolutely no roughage in my diet, and I still have a bowel movement which to a great extent is dependent on the amount of fat I ingest The more fat the greater the amount. How is that possible? The bacteria in my guts and epithelial cells are now in line with my fat regime, the more fat, the more they thrive and happily die.

We can only break down so much fat in any given 24-hour cycle as it is dependent on the creation of bile, pancreatic juice and epithelial enzyme production. Eat more than that and the bowels will go increasingly loose.

In hindsight, I would have kept eating a little bit of carbs in the early days rather than go cold turkey on the carbs and spared myself a lot of angst. Today after 5 years of total abstinence, although some of my tissues still can’t function properly without the sugar all I can say to these strugglers is “Die you suckers”, as I continue making room for a new generation of healthy cells.

*Q&A with ~Charley

Cancer, a death sentence?

To be told “You have cancer”  is heard by the patient as though a death sentence had just been pronounced.  The fear of it is so intense that many celebrity women have had their breasts removed because they have a DNA gene that allegedly makes them susceptible.

In an article in Medical News today they claim that 1 in 2 women and 1in 3 men will have cancer sometime in their lives. And, because people live longer it is inevitable that with age at some point, most people will get cancer.

One of the oldest cancer societies was first established in 1913. Today, there are a plethora of Cancer Charities siphoning billions from bereaved relatives to find a future cure. In over a hundred years with more than an estimated $100 billions spent on research for a cure, they are still no closer to an answer other than to kill the tumours with toxic chemicals/ radiation that afflict collateral damage to the body.

This is scary stuff for the average person. And a huge source of funds for the pharmaceutical industry with an income of nearly $100 billion a year.  Honestly, with the medical/pharmaceutical industry making such vast profits, would you kill the golden goose?

The above financial statistics that after 100+ years, and enough money to pay off the existing debt of a small country have been poured into research and prevention have achieved so little, are depressing statistics, however, we have to ask “ Were people always dying from cancer?”

The New England Journal of Medicine has done some sleuthing where they compared major causes of death in 1900   64 per 100K people to 2010  185.9 per 100K people or a 200% increase.  As part of their article, they also share with us a list of deaths in one year in 1811in the town of Boston where amongst all the possible causes of death 15 children died from teething issues compared to 5 from cancer.

So people have always died from cancer but never in the history of the world have people died in such profusion.  So the obvious question is, what has changed?  Firstly, We have been told for a long time that cancer is a genetic disease, if that were true then cancer would be endemic and constant throughout the generations.  I am not dismissing the genetic component, but clearly, there is something new that didn’t exist before.

For some years now as a result of research into ketogenic versus carbohydrate energy cell production, a new theory has emerged that cancer is primarily a metabolic disease which means that what we eat is the foremost reason for cancer.

If so, what has changed since the 1900s?  Well, for one thing, the increasing consumption of seed oils sold as vegetable oils.   Such as canola, corn oil, rape seed oil, etc., For another The unprecedented consumption of carbohydrates as the primary source of calories.

Yes, it is also true that we are subjected to an escalating level of chemicals in the food and our environment, but these have different effects on our health; such as damage to the lining of the intestines, and possible DNA damage that could lead to secondary cancers.

We now know that just as diesel engines do not work with petrol fuel so linoleic acid (omega 3 / seed oil) will slowly corrupt the energy engine in a cell – the mitochondria

Subscribe to my YouTube Channel

The human cell has a number of organelles (little engines) that convert fatty acids with the help of oxygen to ATP and like a car engine – the waste (oxidation process)  is water and CO2.

When a human cell is abruptly corrupted it commits (apoptosis), however, if it degrades slowly over many, many years something different happens. The degradation and corruption of the mitochondria in a cell occur as a result of combining seed oils and poisonous amounts of carbohydrates.

Diabetes Type 2

Perhaps this may be a good place to point out that obesity and diabetes have also exploded in the last 100 years. Diabetes Type 2 is a description for a biological process that has helped with mankind’s survival in times of famine (winter). It is a genetic process whereby ingested carbohydrate is converted in the liver into fructose and stored in the tissues as fatty cells, whilst making the person very hungry and lethargic, so that most of the ingested energy, rather than going to the muscles, is accumulated as fat.

Bears make good use of this ability, and when it lasts a few months is not detrimental to the organism. In our modern world, where most so-called foods are pre-manufactured with cheap oils and high carbohydrate content, fruit juices and genetically altered fruits to increase the fructose, sweetness are available all year round. Chocolate, ice cream, biscuits, sweets, desserts after each meal, Breakfast cereals laden with sugar and chocolate, bread, pasta. We are drowning in high glycemic foods and non-foods.

Glycemic Index

t takes many years. Who doesn’t view a teenager with a modicum of envy for their capacity to indulge without putting any weight on? But eventually, our bodies throw in the towel. The liver can’t store any more fat in itself -Fatty liver disease ensues, and our lower abdomens expand in ‘middle age spread’ to the consternation of our partners, who regardless, still love us.

The road to high blood pressure, kidney damage, and a host of other symptoms slowly begins to rear its head.

Skin Tags A symptom of type 2 diabetes and mitochondrial distress

It is interesting to note that one of the symptoms of approaching type 2 diabetes is skin tags. Those little mounds of skin cells that grow prolifically like mushrooms into little independent blobs on the skin.

These tags are a sign that the mitochondria is throwing in the towel – and a precursor to future possible internal tumours.

And yet, the human body is highly resilient and adaptable. It will take a long time for the problems to manifest, hence, I suppose, why the largest proportion of cancers happen in later life.

This may be of passing interest, but the cell, when it is corrupted and can no longer process fatty acids catabolically (with oxygen) survives by reverting to a throwback state of existence. A time billions of years back, when there was no oxygen around, and energy was created via fermentation.

Someone diagnosed with a tumour will, over time, need to consume more and more carbohydrates to feed it, for the tumour needs glucose and the by-product of this fermentation – lactic acid returns to the liver to be transformed back to glucose. The tumours exhaust the capacity of the liver to make more and more glucose, and, as the tumours grow, the person gets thinner.

You could say this is the first real clue on how to survive cancer. Starve the tumour by omitting carbs from the diet., which might even mean curtailing excess levels of protein intake as the body will convert excess to carbs.

Cancer IS a metabolic disease

Cancer IS a metabolic disease, and we are giving it to ourselves via our ignorance of what is good food for us. It doesn’t help that there are huge financial incentives for all parts of the medical/ pharmaceutical /Charities industry not to look outside their pre-conditioned box too closely.- If I am wrong, what have they been doing for the last 100 years?

Yes, a valid question. What have they been doing? And what is the result? Well, to date, if you have ‘cancer’ and have been diagnosed as such, you will get a prognosis of how far advanced it is and how long you may have to live, depending on whether you have treatment or not. Treatment is focused on killing the tumour either with chemotherapy /radiation, as well as, if accessible, the removal of the tumour + surrounding tissue, in case it spreads, or might metastasise.

White samurai immune cell making sliced salami out of rogue cancer cell

A Tumour, by definition, is a failure of the immune system to keep up with the destruction of the rogue cells before they grow into an independent colony.

The answer after 100 years of research? To poison the body and destroy the immune system, as well as hopefully any cancerous cells lurking anywhere.

I found this in the statistics of ‘Surviving Cancer: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians’. “The prognosis and recovery is apparently improving, with some cancers still near fatal, and others if caught very early a very good chance of remission.”

The existential problem remains for the majority of people, who are suffering from a metabolic disease where the cure will never occur without a drastic change in diet.

Some time back I had one client who was diagnosed with cancer and *~Charley point-blank refused the label, he did not recognise the client’s symptoms as being from cancer rather he preferred the label cell degradation ( up to that time I had not made the connection between mitochondrial damage and what is called cancer).  I now understand why.

In her case, she was chronically suffering from a lack of Vitamin B (inflicting a huge pain in her damaged parts of the nervous system) and had lost the capacity to digest meat as a source of protein, so her diet was a carbohydrate diet.

Recently, another client was also diagnosed with prostate cancer once again ~Charley refused the label.

*[~Charley is an Intelligence way beyond my pay grade that channels through me]. Some would describe him as “my Higher Self” That would put me in charge, which is nonsense; if anything, I am a mere vehicle for His Will. ~Charley describes himself for ease of reference as a 12th-dimensional fragment of the “One Soul.

Our definition of cancer is based on the supposition that it is a genetic cause of DNA damage.  Whereas the truth, according to ~Charley, is that that label only applies to 10% at most, the other 90% due to Metabolic damage (including sun-derived skin cancers). The principle of cure remains the same regardless of origin.

If you have metabolic damage or wish to avert it.  There are a number of diet issues that need to be addressed. First, give up the carbohydrates, it will starve the tumours – they can’t survive without the sugar and will shrivel soon enough.

2. Stop ingesting vegetable/seed oils NOW!  Unfortunately, they have a half-life of about 5 years within the fatty tissues of your body, and the only way to get rid of them is to feed them with fat for combustion, even though, unless they commit suicide themselves, they will at some time create damage. So the chances are that you have a large number of damaged cells throughout your body. Can’t be helped, persevere.

3. As you improve, you will need to generate apoptosis of your damaged body cells, this is best achieved via exercise, ideally to the point of exertion and occasional intermittent (short) fasting.

For all intents and purposes, you will need to eat a carnivore /ketogenic diet over time to regain your health. This is not advisable to do overnight, as there are issues with regard to oxalic acid dumping, which means that the transition from high to low oxalic vegetables has to be achieved gradually.

During this process, you will also need to consume various vitamins and nutrients which are very, very important both for body repair and safe excretion of the oxalic acid.

Skin Cancer

Skin cancer has exploded in the last 50 + years and everyone is pointing their finger at the Sun! The great enemy of Mankind. Errr…Since when? Humanity has been running sitting and…’doing everything under the Sun’ since time immemorial. Twenty thousand years back our ancestors were all living in the equatorial areas of the Earth and guess what? They were all black!

As the climate changed and the glaciers receded our ancestors explored further North and South, and they lost their darkness and their features altered to reflect new locations and mating habits. Regardless, up to 150 years back, the only ones who hid from the Sun Were those who considered themselves ‘too good’ to manually labour in the fields. And we have no records of skin cancers affecting those who survived the Sun’s daily onslaught.

And yet, inexplicably since the invention of Sun barrier creams Skin cancers are inexplicably on the rise to disproportionate levels. We may have a chicken-and-egg situation as to which came first. So what is actually going on?

Does Sunscreen cause cancer?

Not many will have heard of Phytophotodermatitis a condition whereby your skin literally burns under the Sun. Wild parsnip, wild dill, buttercups and citrus fruits, especially limes when in connection to the skin will literally burn it when exposed to the Sun, and may even leave a brown discolouration for months. I share this for recognition that plants have chemicals that can affect the human body for better or worse.

Seed oils are commonly known as vegetable oils, and chemically labelled as linoleic acid which is a type of Omega 3 oil, they also have an effect on the skin. This linoleic acid fat not only corrupts the mitochondria energy engines of the cells, but the body doesn’t know what to do with it except store it – not just in muscles, tissues and organs but under the skin.

Animal fats when stored subcutaneously (under the skin) in the body become catalysts for the metabolic conversion of Vitamin D when exposed to the UV in sunlight. The same is not true for seed oil fats, and rather than melamine darkening your skin in protection, you burn, and increase your chances of radiation/ genetic damage.

In other words, eating seed oils to the exclusion of animal fats strips the body of natural sunlight protection and opens you up to playing Russian roulette with cancer. My wife and I stopped consuming seed oils about 5 years back. This summer We sunbathed most days for about an hour or so front and back. My skin darkened very quickly, it never felt like I had burned, and I didn’t peel. My wife (who is of fair complexion) did not darken as much as me yet neither did she burn or peel at any time.

Vitamin C dammed if you do and damned if you don’t

Human beings are no longer designed to generate Vit C, unlike the majority of herbivores. As a culture we lost our way a little while back. the more vegetables and carbohydrates we consumed the greater need we had for Vit C. which unfortunately competes with carbohydrate for absorption. If you eat carbs as well as Vit C. The insulin will take the carbs to the cells instead of the Vit C.

So the joke is, that the more carbs you eat it won’t matter if the fruits have Vit C your body will miss out on most of it.

Vic C is an important ingredient for the formation of ligaments /fascia/bones/muscles. Every cell in your body is encased in a thin layer of fascia The immune system is designed to destroy any cell that has gone rogue. if you are deficient in Vit C and the cell has gone rogue it can escape its constraints (metastasis).

If you go ketogenic or carnivore your need for Vit C. will greatly reduce. It took me four years after being a carnivore to reach a point when I no longer need to supplement with Vit C as there is enough in the meat I consume for my body’s needs.

You do not want to consume great quantities of Vit C once you have given up the carbohydrate as the body will no longer require it in large quantities, and the liver will convert it to oxalic acid to dispose of.   And yet, you will still need some for a few years probably around 1000mg. a day.

Q&A with ~Charley

To conclude this article I have decided to double-check with ~Charley as to my various assumptions around the subject of cancer. I was brought up with the belief that Cancer/ metabolic damage is the result of intense suppressed emotions and limiting belief systems.   So I am going to ask ~For His summation on this aspect. I hate to say this, but I have met quite a few people with Cancer in the past and a few of them certainly appeared to me to be under a dark cloud of suppressed emotional intensity.

~Charley, is Cancer/ metabolic damage the result of mental-emotional disruption?

“No,  but it is one of the potential outcomes.  Although not in every case, occasionally a soul plans for such an experience. In such an instance it will choose a genetic line to be born into that carries such a potential”.

What about the rest of us? 10 years back my Type 2 diabetes was fast becoming chronic.

“You trimmed your sails and changed direction. You woke up just in time, and I have helped you undo the damage and become whole once more. All the souls ready to move on at this crucial time accepted the possibility that they might not wake up in time to undo irreparable damage to their bodies. The cards of the present world are stacked against them.”

~Charley continues “There is a concerted effort to keep them ignorant and naive in regard to their bodies, their food and health needs, their mental and critical qualities to discern the true appreciation of ‘Spirit’ from religious and atheistic dogma. Quite apart from the increasing poisoning of the environment and the population under the guise of medical/scientific progress”

Are most so-called cancers really mitochondrial damage? “Yes”.

And the way to cure oneself is to abstain from carbohydrates?

” Yes, this is regardless of whether it is true cancer (genetic damage) or of metabolic origin. But, it will not be an overnight success; for all the damaged cells need to die off, and even with diligence this could easily take up to five years. It also presupposes that there will be a complete reversal of diet. All manufactured foods, all seed oils, and all carbohydrates have to stop, and essential nutrients added to one’s food intake.”

I appreciate that you took me initially in this direction for my personal health. Can you categorically state that we as a ‘species’ are designed to be fat and meat eaters?

“Yes”

Do we need any plants at all to be healthy? “No”

Are you saying that most of our health problems are linked to plant eating? “Yes”.

What about all those who would be vegan or vegetarian because they hate the thought of the animal’s suffering?

“They are weak in their capacity for emotional intensity, they don’t honour the sacrifice that souls incurred on their behalf that they may experience life to the full. They delude themselves in their belief that they will somehow be more spiritual or sensitive to energies beyond this dimension. All they achieve is an internal conflict between the mind the body, and its eventual weakness, as it loses essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals, for many of the vegetables it consumes with their inherent anti-nutrients will rob the body of them”.

How much do you Trust yourself?

0

Take a moment to listen to yourself as you read these words.  Do you trust yourself?

Picture yourself holding a sharp knife on a day when you’re feeling down, or driving alone on an empty road and contemplating speeding up. You jump from the side of a plane, as the ground looms ever closer with each second seeming like a lifetime. You are mesmerised as the shape of trees and ground features expand to fill your view, your safety harness with about 12-15 seconds to impact is beeping “Pull the cord now!” For that one second you hesitate, if you don’t pull the parachute cord now you could painlessly sleep forever. These thoughts may seem unsettling, but they reveal a possible deeper conflict within ourselves.

The lack of self-trust is more common than you might think. Let’s have an honest conversation. Most people struggle to trust, like, or be truthful with themselves. They constantly seek love, appreciation, and a sense of belonging. There is a profound longing to be accepted, acknowledged, and treated with kindness—to be truly seen.

However, when we are fortunate enough to be seen in our vulnerable state, we often hide or run away, fearing that others will witness our desperate need for comfort without judgment or criticism. This human condition ensnares most of humanity, seemingly without hope of liberation.

Fighting one’s shadow self

Have you ever wondered why so many turn to spirituality or religion? It frequently stems from a place of desperation. This internal struggle is rarely discussed because it serves the interests of those who run our world to keep humans internally divided. Divided individuals are easier to manipulate and turn against one another, whether it be neighbours or foreign populations. There is always an external enemy to reflect the enemy within.

Many people become consumed with wanting to change the world, and it’s understandable. However, the real dictators are not external; they reside in our minds. Changing ourselves can lead to changing the world, but it’s challenging to grasp this concept when we know so little about ourselves to begin with.

So, who are you? Let me offer some guidance. You are likely a mass of contradictions. On one hand, you have biological and emotional needs, while on the other, you carry the weight of centuries of societal rules and regulations that shape your behaviour. Deviating from these norms can result in punishment such as imprisonment, physical harm, financial extortion, excommunication, or social exclusion.

rage

The need to conform runs deep within our biological psyche. We are expected to suppress our emotions, self-censor, and restrain ourselves. It’s hard to imagine a lion tolerating disrespect without taking action. That impulsive surge of hormones that energizes our muscles for self-defence would be called anger. Yet, most of us have been taught that anger is unacceptable, and over time, we suppress the emotion. We become victims, exploding from time to time on innocent bystanders with our “rage”. Then we feel remorse, embarrassment, and probably punish ourselves.

The same holds true for other emotions like grief, jealousy, abandonment, hate, rancour, and fear. We have learned that these negative emotions are unacceptable in certain social strata because they make others uncomfortable. While some negative emotions are more easily expressed, there are always a few that we struggle with as individuals.

But who is this “we” that struggles? It is our minds—the constant chatter in our heads, repeating nonsensical thoughts like a broken record. Those who cannot cope with this internal turmoil are often labelled as mentally unstable, “out of their minds,” or “off their rockers.” As a society, we blame the mind for not controlling our emotions, as only savages assert their personal space. This is not an endorsement of violence, but rather an illustration of the price we pay for conformity.

Sadly, many people end up seeking help from doctors who prescribe medication to chemically alter their body’s chemistry, to suppress the pain of unexpressed emotions. In today’s “Woke culture,” we are even prescribing, and sometimes legislating (hate speech laws), the avoidance of emotional pain and disturbance. The perception is, that individuals are fragile beings easily hurt by the words of others. This is not a healthy path to follow, but it reflects the internal struggles within people’s psyches.

The Inner struggle

Our minds try to protect us by denying certain experiences, fearing that we may break under the emotional intensity. While this may have been true when we were five years old, if we shield a child from the world, they will grow up weak because the world is inherently unfair and unjust.

The true conflict in the world is not external but internal—a battle between the enslaved mind and the suppressed reactive emotions. As long as we remain divided within ourselves, there can be no lasting peace on Earth.

For those seeking spiritual enlightenment, as in the Holy Grail in Arthurian legend, this is the frontier that must be explored and navigated to discover the true treasure at the end of the quest—self-love.

I may have gone overboard with hyperbole, but human beings are relatively straightforward to understand. We have grown up lopsided and emotionally stunted. Our minds have been filled with rules and regulations that control and suppress our behaviour and emotional expression causing us to lose our individuality, flexibility of thought and creativity. We are desperate to be seen and loved for who we truly are, yet we fear the consequences of revealing our authentic selves.

One overriding trait lurks in the back of most people’s minds: the need to be special. This need may be so deeply buried that it will affect our behaviour from the shadows of our subconscious. We want to be special to our parents, our children, our lovers, our friends. Sometimes this ‘need’ is hidden within external means such as positions of power, and control, be it within a government, bureaucracy, business firm, or sought-after labels (Ph.D., Doctor, Sir, Lord, prince, king etc.). Contentment in this life is about none of the above; it is about being ordinary

I often speak about being ordinary, it sounds such a demeaning word.  Yet on the contrary, in this modern world to be truly ordinary is no mean feat.

*It requires experiencing all our emotions, without reacting to them.

*It entails seeing the weaknesses in ourselves with compassion and understanding

*It needs us to be our own best friend and lover

* It means recognizing that there is a pattern of intelligence behind life, surrendering to it, and flowing with it.

*It entails the recognition that we are ALL damaged as human beings sharing the same boat, no one is better or worse,

To be ordinary is to be connected to the sensory apparatus of our bodies, to experience and allow to flow the whole gamut of emotions within ourselves. To have a heart that freely opens or shuts as appropriate, and which when open allows us in that silence of feeling to hear the inspiration that arises from the Intelligence beyond this World of Matter.

And how do we get there? I began this article with a question “Do, you trust yourself?” This question is in a way misleading, for if you truly knew yourself then there would be no conflict within you to be weary of.

To have inner trust is to be connected to all aspects of oneself. And this world is designed to keep and maintain us in a fractured state.

Sad and hurting

Imagine you are the proud parent of a young child, freshly minted and open-hearted. If you are cross with him /her unfairly how long will that trust last? How about if you lie, or are violent? Physically, mentally abusive? Dismissive of his/her emotional states? Inattentive to his/her concerns? You get my drift, love begets love and violence/domination begets fear/reaction.

Now apply this insight to your own personality, you will be conflicted because some of your needs are suppressed by your chattering mind that behaves like a strict parent.

Here are a few useful pointers to self-integration:

This is the overriding and all-encapsulating Phrase – SEE YOURSELF -warts and all

We need to truly SEE ourselves, No more lying. Compassion, love, and acceptance require empathy which in turn means self-observation.

The world is constantly pulling us away from ourselves. Through detached self-observation, we start the process of appreciation and integrating the fractured pieces.

Firstly, We connect with our bodies and its numerous sensations, we focus on its structure, and with our eyes shut, we want to be able to sense all the limbs’ torso, neck, and head and its spatial position and posture. We want to be able to walk down the road connected to our feet propelling us forward, we want to be one (trust) with our body without interfering with its movements.

As we connect with our bodies our minds go quiet and we are present with the passage of time. Suppressed emotions will spontaneously arise appropriately to our present capacity for emotional intensity. Trust your body and your child to express themselves spontaneously without criticism.

As we become emotionally clear of the backlog, we will have increasing integration of our three centres and a feeling of ‘Self’ will grow within us, our hearts will open up more and more, and we will SEE ourselves compassionately.

Humans-Biological Machines

To most English-speaking people, emotions, sensations, and feelings are interchangeable, and confusion sets in when I explain to others that they are not the same. If you had never experienced an orange and I said: “It is a fruit”. You might have nodded your head. “Aha? Yes, I know of fruit”. You might reply. “It comes from trees”. But my description of the texture, aroma, taste and experience of peeling one would have left you none the wiser, for we learn and understand through direct experience.

Trapped in quicksand

The appreciation, direct experience, and understanding of these 3 states – sensations, emotions, and feelings, are indispensable to what we nowadays term personal/spiritual growth. Without these direct experiences, we are unlikely to escape the quicksand of the mind that in Hindu Philosophy is described as “Maya” and imprisons the majority of the Earth’s population.

To appreciate the difference between the 3 states let me begin by reminding you how a human being is constructed. Firstly, we are biological/mechanical machines. With three separate brains that ideally should be working in tandem. Alas, they seldom are, with most people having two engaged brains and the third one coming in sporadically now and then for very short moments.

The human being as a biological machine entity is pre-programmed as well as programmable.

A young boy riding a bicycle

The physical brain is genetically encoded to learn via repetitive movements and complex physical manoeuvres essential for survival. And which by-pass the thinking /abstract brain/. It relies on sensing to a great extent. For if your hand touches something very hot it will automatically move away, it doesn’t wait for the mind to realize the hand is burning.

The emotional brain is in a sense the nervous system + hormonal glands. It acts as an intermediary between the mental brain and the physical brain.  Its job is to release hormones and instruct muscles and functions of the internal organs +immune system for either fight/flight/or play possum. Emotions are ‘experienced‘ by the whole organism. “I am afraid”, “I am angry”, and “I am jealous” are apt descriptions “I feel jealous”, and “I feel anger” are not, they suggest disassociation from the totality of the experience.

The mental brain is like computer software code. Its job is to learn and create rules for survival in its growing environment. Some of these rules are learnt via painful experiences others are instilled in us by parents, teachers, friends society etc. What makes these rules stick is always “fear”.  Whilst young it is highly programmable, hence why children are like mental sponges, who easily believe what they are told.

The mental brain does a great job of keeping us safe according to its program. It motivates the physical body into action via the nervous system (hormones) we call these ‘emotions’. The root emotion is fear, all other emotions are shades of it.

Shades of fear

The totality of the biological machine can be described as ‘ego’ – it is self-centred and can only experience the world from its own perspective in terms of fear/survival/ having its needs met.

The snag in this biological machine is that whilst young, if emotional intensity overwhelms the child the mind will arrest /pull the plug on the emotions! How can it do this? Primarily by holding one’s breath whilst seizing the muscles of the lower abdomen and /or, by intently focussing on a surrounding object and disassociating from the body. It will also remember when people or the environment are/is unsafe. How to breathe properly .pdf

Gurdjieff, J.G. Bennet – Sensing and feeling

In the English language, we are fortunate to have two words that enrich our perception of self and our environment – sensing and feeling.  I say fortunate because the Latin languages, certainly in Spanish, Dutch, and French only have one – “sensing” which is used to describe the whole gamut of sensing, emotions and….feelings.

Gurdjieff

I recently came across an article written in 1949 by J.G. Bennett (a student of Gurdjieff ) Describing a practical process for self-awareness that Gurdjieff promoted as one of the foundational pillars of his “System, or, the Work” that later on, was given the name “The Fourth way by P.D. Ouspensky another student of Gurdjieff that later set up a competing group.  The difficulty seemed to be that in those days 100 years back (has anything changed since?) people were very much in their heads. This, then as now, is an outmoded self-preservation tactic by the biological organism to protect the individual from emotional intensity (overload).

Gurdjieff was aware that the French word “moi” (myself) was an insufficient vehicle with which to experience the detached self-awareness required for all three brains to work in tandem. So he creatively came up with “je”(me) and “moi” (myself) To differentiate between sensations – “myself” and feelings – “me”.

When people are full of rules and regulations in their heads, they sabotage their emotional expressions and experiences, which leads to muscular spasms /pain which in turn leads to a gradual retreat from their bodies and their senses. Gurdjieff went to great lengths to instil body awareness/sensing as a prelude to or in conjunction with working with one’s emotions.

As far as the above went, it no doubt helped with gaining a direct experience of sensation, however the true meaning of feeling was lacking, (although I have no doubt Gurdjieff was intimately connected to feeling in himself). I appreciate why, there was no word in the Latin language to truly express it, for it is not a descriptive word in the world of ego. Although it is commonly used and interchanged with sensing.

With *~Charley’s help, my appreciation of this conundrum has evolved one step closer to the truth and hopefully, my explanations will bring you, dear reader, one step closer on the path to true self-discovery. And, over time you will be able to make a clear delineation between sensations – physical body, emotions – fear (energy engine), the mind- (ego) controller, and feelings – love (the Soul).

*~Charley is an Intelligence beyond my comprehension that I Channel in real-time. (He describes Himself to me as a 12th-Dimensional Soul for ease of reference)

Feeling – Soul Connection

Gurdjieff was probably the first in recent times who coined the phrase that Man is sleep, although I half remember from 50 years back reading somewhere in the New Testament this pronouncement being repeated several times. Today being awake, and waking up has become synonymous with those who are realizing that politicians who control governments have become a law unto themselves. Those who pull on the levers of power get their lackeys to deliberately tell porkies as a means of control, deflection and manipulation of the narrative to move the sheeple in their preferred direction.

That type of waking up is important to free oneself of a great many belief systems designed to keep us demure and enslaved to their rhetoric. However, it does not free us from fear, hence we can still be easily manipulated. See the mindless sheeple.

Real waking up is closer to the idea of Spiritual Enlightenment, Self-Actualization or, as I like to name it -being ordinary. In our present world, there are relatively few ordinary people as yet.

To be ordinary is no mean feat, it requires the individual to be present in their bodies, unencumbered by the weight of suppressed emotions, or the fear of thinking the unthinkable. But most of all it requires a flexible heart that can open or shut according to need.

To talk about the heart and feelings we have to talk about the Soul. Somewhere in the last few hundred years we dispassionately noted that we are biological machines, easily indoctrinated, and manipulated. With the advent of science, we discovered that there were rules to this universe, and thought that with enough physics we could be its master. We just needed the right formulas. Now, in reaction to mainstream religions, we are proud to say “I am an atheist”, we threw the baby out with the bathwater,

The Gods of Religions are envisioned in Humanity’s image, for we can never comprehend that which is beyond us. And yet, there is an Intelligence that operates in the background of Creation, that is beyond, yet permeates and expresses itself in all Matter in this physical universe, be it animate or inanimate.

This soul Intelligence is a part of The Maker of All, exercising its Will within Creation. The human vehicle (whilst not unique) is a gateway for Soul expression and this window of interaction is found in the heart of a human being.

I previously mentioned how ego-the biological machine is fuelled by fear and all about self and survival needs. The Heart is the expression of the soul in this physical dimension, it is about feelings, a term we often confuse with sensation. Like Fear, Love has many subsidiary expressions.

Expressions of Feelings

Feelings allow us to place ourselves in a state of empathy with another sentient being and experience the world from their perspective. Just as importantly It allows us to observe ourselves dispassionately with compassion. Whereas with emotions – fear we are isolated, with feelings- love we are inclusive.

In a previous article, I focused on the power of words in our conversations. To the extent that we confuse sensation, emotional experience and feelings as descriptions of our states, the harder it is to distinguish and be clear in ourselves.

How to help ourselves to grow

The path to being ordinary is easy yet painful. Initially, we need to undo all the accumulated damage we have inadvertently done to our bodies, this is in terms of releasing muscular tensions, changing our diet, and releasing unexpressed emotions.

I have already mentioned the importance of proper abdominal breathing and provided a link to a .pdf. sheet with the info above.

For releasing muscular tensions and gaining body awareness (sensations) I recommend this meditation

So coming back to Gurdjieff. He hoped to share with his students the experience of the feeling of ‘me’ I also wish to share this feeling state with you. For it is a place beyond words, you could call it the Shangri-la in the human body, it is the centre from which our souls communicate with us.

Drowning in Allergies

Chemtrails, weather modification

Humanity is drowning in allergies, never before in the history of the World has such a catastrophic event happened to such a large amount of the population, what is going on, and what can one do about it?

We can see if we look around that we are drowning in a cesspit of our own making. We are poisoning the land with monoculture farming practices and glyphosate, we are poisoning the seas with toxic chemicals, hormones, and antidepressants. Likewise, we are poisoning our bodies, with manufactured “so-called foods” and pharmaceutical drugs, as well as toxic metals like aluminium and mercury, and we are poisoning the air, not with carbon monoxide or CO2 as many believe but with aluminium nanoparticles that have been dispersed in the air for bio-weather modification worldwide.

Is it any wonder that our immune systems are having the fight of their lives?

You might think this is “normal”, but the human body essentially shaped like a doughnut with a hole in the middle is extremely well designed and has withstood the test of Time to cope with a world filled with bacteria, funguses and parasites.

It has an outer skin that includes our guts from the mouth to the anus protected by antibacterial proteins that only allow ‘friendly bacteria ‘ to thrive on it, thereby making it almost impossible for the wrong bacteria and fungus to take hold. Internally the body’s immune system is in continuous patrol with a whole variety of methods to deal with any potential incursion that can only happen when there is a break in the outer defences.

The reason for allergies is that the external defences of the human organism have been breached! and the two major ways this can happen, are via injections/cuts in the skin or a gap in the intestines, occasionally via the lungs.

I will not bamboozle you with science, I am not a “doctor” although I have been in the healing business for nearly forty years. But I will share reasonably easy information on how to help yourself effectively.

Internally, the immune system is only activated in an emergency at which time it will release histamine to isolate the infected area and bring the troops in to fight the pathogen. There will be inflammation, and if bacterial it will create a fever to slow down the reproduction of the pathogen whilst it increases the white cells to gobble them up.

But something different is happening in our bodies today, our defences are breached mainly via the guts, and alien proteins called lectins (antinutrients) are getting into the bloodstream. The lectins, like little magnets, will bind to sugar molecules in the bloodstream, and with the help of insulin, they are absorbed into tissue cells. The immune system now tags these body cells as “alien”, releasing histamine and generating inflammation. This is happening to people with allergies on a daily basis in many parts of their bodies.

Eventually, the affected individual is saturated with histamine and this is when overreactions such as anaphylactic shocks, Ezcema, skin weals and other allergic reactions can occur.

Well, shouldn’t the body be getting rid of the Histamine? Yes! but the emergency that releases histamine is only meant to happen once in a blue moon, and once over, enzymes created in the nervous system and the guts would work together to neutralize it and disperse the inflammation.

Now imagine that the immune system gets triggered, not once in a blue moon, but numerous times daily in different body parts. You would now have an immune system releasing histamine in so many locations that with some many individuals the tissues would be saturated. And the enzymes, mostly from the guts would be struggling to keep up in creating enough enzymes to neutralise the histamine. At this point, extreme reactions to peanuts, stings, hairs, etc., are likely and may even lead to anaphylactic shock.

Histamine reaction

So what could possibly be triggering the immune system so consistently?

Surprisingly, Western medicine does not appear to be too concerned with causes.  Their approach is to avoid the triggering ingredient (if they can find it) give you some light therapy perhaps, if you are suffering from eczema or steroids, and not least anti-histamine tablets. or in extreme cases a shot of adrenalin.

So let’s start at the beginning, for to understand allergies it will help to have greater insight into the workings of the immune system.

A balanced immune system will not react disproportionally  to a foreign substance

Pharmaceutical products

It is an unfortunate fact that here in the Western World where The Pharmaceutical industry reigns supreme, just about all human problems can (allegedly) be dealt with, by some drug or other. Pregnant mothers are treated like children.  If we look at the animal world, yes there are occasional problems when the calf, foal, etc., is in the wrong position but this is not the norm.

With humans when there is a problem giving birth more often than not it is due to unnecessary medical intervention, nutritionally deficient, or, is physically seriously out of condition and, lastly the mother to be is/has been emotionally, seriously discombobulated.

Baby with the placenta in the potty

Unfortunately, there is a considerable lack of education as to how to be healthy and this is compounded in a pregnant mother-to-be.  It can’t be helped, the world is as the world is. And yet,  did you know that the placenta is a filtering system? And, if left attached to the umbilicus for about three days, it will naturally shrivel and dry up, leaving all the toxic matter hovered in the bag for disposal?

Taken at the Black Sea in the Crimean area of the Ukraine,
where women choose to birth their babies during the summer months.

Any drugs given to the mother, let’s say for pain?  Stand a good chance of being left behind in the shrivelled placenta, the same might well apply to stress hormones from delivery.  I knew one Russian midwife that would help pregnant women by doing strengthening pelvic exercises during the 9 months as well as some yoga poses. Then she would take a group of them that were ready to give birth, to the black sea. And there, by the waters, they would squat and give birth. The baby would pop to the surface. They each came with a potty into which the placenta would in turn be placed as soon as it came out. And that potty would follow the baby for the next 3 days.  No Doctors or drugs, just knowledgeable and experienced midwives.

Vaccinations

The greatest threat to the integrity of the human immune system starts at birth and keeps on going. To begin with, the Immune System is immature and relies on the mother’s colostrum and milk to prop it up.  Once the mother’s milk has stopped and solids are introduced the baby’s immune system takes stock of all the cells and bacteria and gives them an ID tag that says “this is baby” and any germ or pathogen that does not contain “the baby ID” is an enemy, alien to be destroyed, and crucially, our immune system keeps a ledger of how to fight off those pesky illegal immigrants.

So far, so good you might think, and after all, the Immune System works pretty well for the rest of Nature (apart from animals under the direct care of humanity who are fed unsuitable foods for their species type). But humanity is by and large under the impression that God put us in charge of Nature which in turn is there to do our bidding, for clearly – we know best!

In America, the CDC Allegedly insists on babies being immunised by giving them injections (that bypass the surface skin layer) accumulating in number to around 30 of them by age 6 or so, and a few more to come from 7 to 18 yrs of age! What!, Humanity has been around for millions of years and we are still here?… Yes! but look how well-fed and rotund you are now. You wouldn’t have survived without all those jabs!

The Vaccines are supposed to protect us by strengthening our immune system, yet very few get to talk about the side effects many of which are the result of the adjuvant (to irritate /increase the immune system response by adding toxic aluminium)  and preservatives in the form of Toxic metals such as Mercury that generate damage within the intestinal tract of the digestive system leading to leaky gut (talk more on this later).

More and more often children get Ear infections One of my children got it after 2 doses of the MMR Vaccine. Then the doctors went to town on him with 5 doses of different antibiotics. Then they wanted to give him steroids and antifungal cream. There and then as I read the doctor’s shopping list for my son and noted how he was increasingly sicker, I took over and took him to a homeopath. He’s never been quite the same. The antibiotics had destroyed most of his immune system- skin bacteria and a fungal infection set up home on his skin around and inside his ear.

What damages our immune system?

Mainly, the damage is indirectly caused by lectin proteins found in many seeds as well as the skin of the pod, and to some extent, Oxalates found in leafy vegetables and seeds. However, with a young child who becomes allergic with skin issues such as eczema, it is the mercury and aluminium that does the initial damage to the gut lining. After which the lectins and oxalates have an easy ingress into the bloodstream.

Once the gut lining has been breached. lectins found in all manner of seeds, fish, birds, and even lamb. will enter and circulate with the blood to every corner of the body, the result is a bit of a lottery.

Lectins are ring proteins that are difficult to break down in the stomach although they can be destroyed by heat. They do have an affinity for carbohydrate molecules, often they will bond with sugars in the food and most of them will be passed away in the stools. However, if unlucky, the lectin protein will be picked up in the blood (having passed through the “leak” in the gut barrier).

Part of the Nightshade family red/yellow/green peppers

Here is a list of possible lectins: The nightshade family (tomatoes, red peppers, eggplant, potatoes) condiments (grounded seeds) like black pepper, the nut family almonds, peanuts, cashew nuts, gluten in wheat and lactose in milk products

And here is a short list of the worst oxalate culprits: Rubbah, spinach, chard, beetroot and beet leaves, potatoes, sweet potatoes and pretty much all the nut family, with the worst being almonds and peanuts.

.pdf of the most common oxalate foods with milligrams per portion

Once you have damaged the intestines, you are more than likely to be ingesting lectins most days, as a result of which, internal inflammations will arise and histamine will increasingly be released into your tissues.

Helping our children who suffer from allergies

If your child develops allergies then their guts have been damaged and they have a surfeit of histamine. You need to change their diet for as long as it takes, this could be from months to years depending on how strict you are with what you feed your child.

There are two processes the first is to clear the histamine backlog from the tissues which could take up to 3 months. The second is to repair the leaky gut damage this could take anywhere from one to two years depending on diet and nutrients. But, bear in mind that every time you feed your child lectins and they get an inflamed response you move the goalpost further back into the future. Similarly with oxalic acid and the guts.

One of my past bullocks, he had a good life and a stress-free demise. I remember him fondly and I ate him.

Many parents have been seduced into the belief that meat is bad and vegetables are good, nothing could be further from the truth. Red meat is the one meat that is closest to us and contains everything we need, well, pretty much. These days it is difficult to get a totally healthy animal since most soils are deficient in some sort of trace mineral or other. Eggs, chicken, and lamb should be ok if they haven’t eaten them before, otherwise, wait 3 months (for the histamine to be cleared from the body) and introduce them once every couple of weeks in turn, and note if there are any reactions.

If you must give them vegetables, a bit of salad, a carrot, squashes, essentially low-level oxalate foods, no vegetable (seed) oils, nor foods developed from flour (gluten is a lectin, as well as containing oxalic acid.) and you can give them some white rice, slightly undercooked is better as the carbohydrate would be released more slowly in the body. They say brown rice is good for you it isn’t, lectins are in the outer fibres as much as the kernel.

I would also suggest staying away from fermented cheeses, for histamine can be created by bacteria, which is likely to be found in larger quantities in fermented foods. And the least favourite to give up is Dark Chocolate which is also made from a seed and is high in lectins and oxalates.

If you are concerned for your child there is no other option if you want to help them to heal from their eczema and other allergies. I appreciate it is a tough regime, and in case it is not obvious – you will need to stop all processed foods, especially breakfast cereals and spreads. Avoid gluten-free flour /breads, they are put together with Almond flour which is heavy with both lectins and oxalates, nor porridge which is also a grass seed and contains lectins.

Baby Eczema http://doktermudatrader.blogspot.com/2010/06/atopic-dermatitis-eczema-in-children.html

As You read this I can easily imagine your concern. What do I feed my child for breakfast? The Myth of cereals for breakfast is less than 150 years old, (apart from perhaps Scotland with porridge?) People would eat whatever they could, soups, cold meats, cheeses, eggs, and yes, bread -but you got to cut that one out. There is nothing wrong with some mince or meat and dripping for fat, later you can add eggs, not sausages, as the manufacturers usually put rusks in them (gluten).

Milk and all its products are a contentious issue, even formula milk needs to be treated with caution, I would also suggest staying away from them for the first 3 months of the new diet regardless, then, if you feel compelled to reintroduce do one item and wait two weeks before introducing the next item whilst observing your child’s response.

Lastly nutrients, at the very least I would recommend Zinc citrate to help with healing the epithelial cells in the guts, as well as one drop of Iodine daily, one drop of Trace minerals every other day, and one capsule of Selenium every 2-3 days ( you can take the powder out of the capsule and sprinkle content on the food to be ingested).

Plants and the immune system

There are two ways for a person to react allergically one is external via skin, eyes nose mouth, and lungs, and the other internal via ingested food getting into the bloodstream.

The immune system invariably reacts appropriately to a threat, if it didn’t we would have died a long time ago as a species. So why is the immune system in so many children and adults increasingly working on overdrive? What has changed over the past 100-odd years in our environment, our food, our medicines, our air, and our culture?

One of the causes as we physically grow up is to do with our emotional and mental world. Here, as a result of intense unexpressed emotions, our hormonal system gets destabilised, our internal organs and or glands become constricted and/or structurally distorted and we lose connection with our bodies and their needs. As a result, we end up eating pre-manufactured and highly addictive combinations of sugar, salt, cheap oils, wheat, chemical additives and preservatives, which we turn to at the slightest sign of internal emotional distress. These, in turn, will in time, damage us internally.

Alternatively and or conjunctly,  When we are born and raised on formula milk, given jabs with toxic metals, our immune systems get overstressed, and the lining of our guts becomes damaged. We are fed foods rich in lectins and oxalates that get into our bloodstream, the lectins once inside the mitochondria of our cells (energy motors) confuse our immune system which then attacks parts of itself and generates inflammation.

If we get any skin infections, antibiotics to be taken internally are given. For some very strange reason, topical antibiotics as a cream or powder are not given any more, and the ingested antibiotics go on to kill most of the friendly bacteria in our guts and possibly eyes, ears, nose, throat etc,  creating gaps in our external defence system. And now we are all set to be train wrecks waiting to happen.

Clearly, we are all different and have received varying medication levels and quality foods as we grew up.   The gut’s defence will improve over time. Will the good bacteria repopulate the epithelial lining of the intestines? That is debatable, as it depends on how well entrenched the bad bacteria and possible fungi have taken hold, as well as whether the foods you continue to eat – feed them or starve them.

Understanding and Dealing with allergies

If you have read all the above you will appreciate that Allergies are ultimately the result of the immune system’s reaction whereby histamine is released to generate inflammation, amongst other defensive tactics. The problem arises because we are not talking about just one case of immune system defensive action, but rather daily multiple reactions in many parts of the body. Eventually, there is more histamine saturating the tissues than the body can disperse.

The body has a good mechanism for dispersing the histamine, it is composed of two separate enzymes that when they come together with the histamine break it down. One is created by the nervous system, the other by the guts. Even with the enzymes in full production, it can take from a week to a few months for the complete breakdown of the histamine in one site.

Hives

Unfortunately, too many constant inflammations lead to a shortfall of enzymes, invariably it is the guts that end up in short supply leading to histamine saturation ie. when it is under the skin we get eczema responses, and at times hives reactions.

There is no way around this one, If you want to be free of allergies, you will have to go cold turkey and give up all the damaging foods long enough to clear the histamine overload from your body, about three months give or take. However, if you have leaky gut damage in the intestines you may need to be very disciplined and abstain completely for up to 3 years depending on the cause, and how often you relapse from your strict diet.

Occasionally the major reason for the allergic reaction is based on your emotional stresses. As I shared half of the enzymes are generated in the nervous system which in turn is affected by suppressed emotions, usually grief or anger.

There is a third category that relates to eczema and this is due to eating fresh milk products (lactose intolerance). Some people react with an overabundance of phlegm/mucus in the large intestine, where the bacteria gets trapped between the phlegm and the colon wall. The ongoing overproduction of phlegm gradually solidifies first into a jelly-like substance and eventually, into a rubbery sheath, coating the inner wall of the transverse and descending colon and in time triggering an immune system response. more on this topic here Can eczema, psoriasis be caused by diet?
