Applied Kinesiology and Acupuncture
When thinking about writing for this page to explain what Applied Kinesiology (AK) is I went online, as one does, to find out what others have written about it. Imagine my shock when most of the first page links speak about ‘pseudo-science’, ‘bunk’, ‘untested’, and ‘does not work’. Medical professionals could not be more disparaging.
I say shock because my personal experience of bringing my own, as well as my wife’s body back to health with AK, is very vivid and short of miraculous. Quite apart from the experiences of those entire clients who have come to me and profited from our mutual interaction. Here is a testimonial from a client that Western Pharmaceutical Medicine struggled with, yet I, with my ‘mumbo jumbo’ sorted quite quickly.
Neither I nor my clients recognize all the above disparaging assertions made by medical professionals as accurate. Ultimately, one is ready to move forward towards truly healing oneself or one is not. AK is no more or less than a set of tools in the hands of an experienced practitioner.
There is Inner Intelligence inside each of us, with AK we tap into that and get responses via muscle testing. In my case, I have honed this ability for communication to a psychic level whereby I no longer need to know what I will do with my client. My own Inner Intelligence, which I call ‘Charley’ Tells me what I need to do to help each client.
What this means is that I don’t work with formulas or theoretical assumptions I simply ask questions as to what I need to do next, and Charley tells me and is continually teaching me. The most important lesson I have understood from Charley is that we are all individual and highly complex beings, at different stages in our Healing Journey. Certainly beyond my little ego to presume to know what is best for anyone at any time.
I appreciate the above sounds far-fetched, so here is a recent video demonstrating something of what I have just written
What Charley and I provide in its simplest form is to balance the person.
Such a simple word yet human beings are highly complex and balancing a person may imply:
- Identifying missing nutrients in your diet.
- Helping to release emotional trauma, from childhood all the way to the present moment,
- Acupuncture meridian imbalances,
- Structural, muscular issues,
- Cranio-sacral issues,
- Identifying mineral or vitamin deficiencies,
- Identifying Allergies
- Diet-related issues
- Tissue salt deficiencies,
- Homoeopathic remedies
- Bach Flower remedies
- Heavy metal poisoning
- Auric field problems
- Blocked Chakra centres, whether at the physical, emotional, mental, or Spiritual Level
- Repairing auric field from previous accidents, operations, cuts on the body
AK see the human body as a collection of electrical fields, these encompass the aura, the Chakric system, the Acupuncture meridians, and Acupuncture points, There is a lot more, but not essential to know right now. There is an emotional and psychological component, approached with tools such as aspects of EFT and NLP, as well as diagnosing, and aiding with the raising of one’s level of consciousness, to release past, and usually hidden emotional trauma.
There is Structural observation, as well as working with muscles, and the cranial sacral system, Nutrition and so much more.
- Long-term emotional stress
- Suppressed painful memories from our childhood
- Rigid thinking and belief systems
- Poisoning of our bodies with toxic metals and chemicals
- Eating foods that we may be allergic to or not eating foods that we need.
So AK aims to help the person, release past trauma, improve one’s eating habits, and Balance one’s energetic systems. There is actually a lot more, but if none of the above resonates with you then the above is more than enough for now.
As an Acupuncturist with over 25 years of experience and a natural psychic, I find the tools that AK brings to the table indispensable in my quest to bring balance to the client in each and every session.
I have not needed to use needles for over 15 yrs. I rely on acupressure, magnets and red laser to activate the points. I have in the past apart from Acupuncture T.C.M & 5 Elements trained in Gestalt Psychotherapy, remedial Massage, Abdominal Massage Cranial Sacral Therapy, Spiritual Healing, And Daoist Qi Gong Practices. It all comes together for me in my understanding of the application of Applied Kinesiology.
