We all have a body, but precious few are in their bodies. Many seek spiritual growth and development. Why? Usually, because their sense of awareness has moved away from what has become an uncomfortable existence in their bodies.

Humanity suffers from the conflict between what our mental programs demand of us, namely, to fit in with our culture and our biological programs. This sets up a warring conflict whereby our biological DNA demands some form of muscular activity (via the use of hormones) and the mind, which suppresses such muscular activity.

In this push-pull, muscles get the brunt of the conflict and end up in spasm, which in turn facilitates the conscious awareness departing from the body to the mind. Once in the mind, we are at the mercy of repetitive thoughts, and uncomfortable emotional releases we have no idea how to deal with, as our minds explode into more words to distract us from the reality in our bodies.

By now, we are desperately seeking a guru to teach us to transcend away from our pain and suffering.

Spirituality suggests reaching away from the body. The truth is the other way around; the growth and expansion of our consciousness requires us to reconnect with our bodies and clear the emotional decks and muscular spasms that distort our structure.

In this podcast, I aim to provide insight on how you might do this and why it matters. Tension is inevitable; the build-up of tension is not. Learning how to release our tensions is a prerequisite for our growth.
